About Isa

Isa Cardenas, Deer Heart, is a Song Keeper, Ceremony and Energy Healing Practitioner, and the founder of Flowerisa Alchemy & Holistic Healing and the Flowerisa Herbothecary.

A proud second-generation Bolivian, Isa’s path as a Medicine Woman has been shaped deeply by  her ancestry, the lands and traditions of Turtle Island and Abiayala, and her lifelong relationship with the natural world. Her path has been shaped by Indigenous Wisdom Keepers, healers, alchemical therapists, medicinal plants, Elemental Spirits, and the many teachers she has encountered along the way.

Isa is a certified Crystal Therapist, Spiritual Life Coach, Ancestrally Guided Herbalist, and Certified Soul Purpose Coach (Dharma Coach®). Her work weaves together crystal healing, ceremony, plant wisdom, chakra psychology, Jungian Alchemy, inner child healing, ancestral work, and a growing understanding of what it means to approach healing through a decolonized lens.

Her own path has been anything but linear. After years in corporate life, Isa left New York City and spent several years living nomadically across Turtle Island, deepening her relationship with nature, ceremony, ancestral teachings, and sacred practices. Her journey has included spontaneous Kundalini awakenings, Sweat Lodges, ceremonial dance, ritual singing, and many years of learning through direct experience.

Much of Isa’s work has grown from her own healing journey. Early imprints of C-PTSD led her into a lifelong exploration of the body, the nervous system, inner child healing, ancestral patterns, and the ways we learn to relate to ourselves and the world around us.

At the heart of her work is a simple knowing: the sacred is not separate from ordinary life. Isa finds ceremony in the everyday, beauty in the mundane, and meaning in the small moments that are easy to overlook. The ceremonies and healing spaces she creates are an invitation to slow down, reconnect with our own inner source, and recognize that this connection is available within everyday life.

She also creates small-batch herbal remedies, skincare, and home essentials through the Flowerisa Herbothecary, inspired by years of personal use and a desire to keep the things we use every day as simple and natural as possible.
